The basketball championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among men's teams of the National League - is the first league in importance in the structure of Kazakhstani men's basketball, created on the initiative of the National Basketball Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the country's basketball clubs.
System and timing:
The tournament is held in two stages:
- Regular season: September 2022 - April 2023
- Playoffs: April - May 2023
1st stage - Regular season:
As part of the regular season, teams play 4 rounds of the traveling system in paired games. For the first two rounds, each team plays one paired game at home and away with each opponent. The third round of the team plays paired games on the traveling system according to the approved calendar. The fourth round without the participation of BC "Astana" four teams also play paired games on the traveling system according to the approved calendar. According to the results of the regular season, teams distribute places from 1st to 5th.
2nd stage - Playoffs:
According to the results of the regular season, the teams that take 1st and 4th place go to the semifinals of the playoff series and compete for prizes. The games of the semi-final and the Final will be held according to the traveling system in a series of up to 3 wins (2+2+1). The team that takes the 5th place according to the results of the regular championship finishes its performance in the Championship.
