Astana have booked their place at the Games of the Future 2026, coming through the qualifying stage to secure a spot in the final tournament this summer in Astana.
This was the team’s second time going through the qualification process. Astana already have international experience in the competition — last year, they finished third at the Games of the Future 2025 in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifying was split into two phases: first, a city stage featuring teams from Astana, followed by a national round for the top sides. Astana looked in control throughout, winning every game and progressing without a slip-up.
The club was represented in the qualifiers by Ruslan Aitkali, Robert Pan, Sardal Abashidze, and Aset Amangeldinov, who showed strong cohesion and a high standard of play on the way to qualification.
