Astana’s forward is staying with the team for another three years. Ruslan signed his first contract with the capital’s club back in 2018 and has proudly worn its colours ever since.
Last season, he played 40 games in the VTB United League regular season and 18 games in the Kazakhstan National League, averaging 10.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
With Astana, Ruslan has won six national championships, six Kazakhstan Cups, and claimed bronze in the West Asia Super League. He’s also a key player for the Kazakhstan national team.
