American forward Shakur Juston is a player for «Astana»!

He was born on March 31, 1996, in Newark, New Jersey. He is 201 cm tall and weighs 102 kg.

Our newcomer began playing basketball for the teams of Irvington and Eastside High Schools. During his college years, he represented Hutchinson College (Kansas), the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, and the University of Oregon. In 2017, Shakur was named the NABC Player of the Year among community college basketball players in the USA.

Shakur Juston's professional career began in February 2021 when he joined the Memphis Grizzlies' NBA G-League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle. Shakur played four games in the G-League, and in September, he signed a contract with the Greek team «Aris.» He subsequently played for clubs such as «Peristeri» (Greece) and «Oldenburg» (Germany).

This season, the player started with the Greek team «Maroussi,» where he averaged 11.3 points, as well as 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
