Vasilije Pusica is an «Astana» player!

Vasilije Pusica, a Serbian guard, has signed a contract with «Astana.»

Our newcomer was born on September 12, 1995, in Belgrade. He is 196 cm tall and weighs 93 kg.

Vasilije began playing basketball in his homeland, including training in the Partizan system. In 2013, he moved to the USA, where he spent four seasons in the NCAA after training at a school in Wichita, Kansas.

His first college team was the University of San Diego. After playing there for two seasons, in 2016, he transferred to Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts). According to NCAA rules, he had to miss the 2016/17 season.

After graduating from university, Vasilije returned to «Partizan», where he played in the Serbian Superliga until the end of the 2019/20 season. He then signed a contract with the Italian team «Pesaro,» and, after a season, moved to «Sassari.» Subsequently, Pušica played in the championships of Lithuania («Priena»), Turkey («Galatasaray»), and Poland («Toruń» and «Śląsk»).

«Avtodor» was the last club of the Serbian defender. He played 18 matches in the United League VTB, averaging 8.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. In a December match against «Astana,» he scored 12 points, made 4 rebounds, and gave 3 assists.
