Oleg Kiselev: «It Was a Match of Equal Opportunities»

Astana's head coach, Oleg Kiselev shared his thoughts on the match against «Avtodor» in Saratov.

«We scored 75 points in the offense. It was a match of equal opportunities, but «Avtodor» capitalized on these chances more effectively. Particularly when we lost our grip in the 4th quarter, then rallied and narrowed the gap to just two points. However, we failed to convert three open three-point attempts, which Avtodor used to build a lead that they maintained until the end of the game.

To be honest, we felt the absence of Karvel Anderson, his scoring ability, and his presence on the court. But as the saying goes, when one player is out, especially in a strong, cohesive team, it's up to others to step up. Some players had their opportunity, but in my view, they didn't make the most of it.»
