Astana's head coach, Oleg Kiselev, commented on the victory over Pari Nizhny Novgorod.

- We started the game quite poorly; Pari Nizhny Novgorod utilized well their strengths, including their size. In the second half, we found ways to deal with this, plus there were correct decisions in attack. We also added more energy and movement to our defense. All this led to us turning the game around.
