The captain of «Astana,» Rustam Murzagaliyev, is staying with «Astana.»

The new player contract includes the possibility of an extension for two more seasons.

In the past season of the VTB United League, Rustam played 27 games, averaging 6 points and 2.1 assists per game. He also became the Kazakhstan Cup MVP and the National League of Kazakhstan leader in three-point shooting.

The main team will begin training on August 15th.
