Royce Hamm Jr. is now a player of «Astana» team

American forward Royce Hamm Jr. has signed a contract with «Astana».

Our recruit was born in Houston, Texas, on March 17, 1999. He began playing basketball in school and debuted in the NCAA during the 2017/18 season for the «Texas Longhorns» from the University of Texas at Austin. He played for this team until 2021, after which he spent his final NCAA season with the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He participated in 122 league matches, averaging 3.68 points and 4.16 rebounds per game.

His professional career began in Belgium, where he moved in 2022. He played eight matches in the country's championship (averaging 10.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game) and eight games in the FIBA Europe Cup (averaging 12.3 points and 4 rebounds per game).

In January of this year, Royce joined «Zenit,» where he played 26 games in the VTB United League, averaging 5.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Royce will wear jersey number 17 while playing for «Astana.»
