Valery Likhodey: «We made mistakes for which we were punished»

Astana forward Valery Likhodey commented on the game against Zenit.

– We failed at the beginning of the first quarter. Judging by the game, Zenit was quite relaxed. I won't say that we didn't have a chance to bring the game even, but we made some stupid mistakes, let's say, for which we were punished. As for the 15 point-gap, which they created at the beginning, in principle, we reached the end with the same difference. We started closing it, but again, we lacked concentration and self-control at some points. We will work on it. When we overcome these failures, we will play even, and, as is usually the case in basketball, the ending will decide the game's outcome.
