In honour of the Astana basketball club’s tenth anniversary, businessman, journalist and founder of the ALIBEKOV brand, Beibit Alibekov, presents a sports clothing line created jointly with the capital's team. The limited collection includes two models of T-shirts, hoodies and full-zip hoodies.
In addition to the fact that the project is aimed at popularizing basketball and the image of the Astana Club, its most important component is social responsibility. The team pays attention to socially vulnerable groups of the population, organizing various actions under the auspices of a social partner — the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Social Projects Development Fund.
This time, in the framework of the new project, part of the profit from the sale of the collaboration collection will be used to purchase basketball uniforms and sneakers for young talented basketball players from Nur-Sultan and Akmola region. The gift set will include a T-shirt and shorts, the design of which was specially developed for the 10th anniversary of the Astana basketball club, as well as sneakers and sweatshirts from the collaboration collection. 15 basketball players from socially vulnerable families will receive such kits from the Astana club and Beibit Alibekov. The recipients of the gift sets will be determined by selecting applications from the children's coaches and heads of basketball clubs in the format of essays about their pupils from low-income families who need basketball equipment.
