Astana to announce the signing of a new player

The american center Jeffrey Grosell (25 years, 212 cm, 112 kg) has signed a one-year contract with PBC «Astana» for the season 2018/2019.

The previous two seasons the player has spent in the Bundesliga, where his average score was 10.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2 blocks per game.

The Head coach of «Astana» Emil Raikovich commented on his signing:
“Jeffrey is fast enough and mobile for his size. He is efficient for peak-and-rolls, and he can play with his back to the basket. Having played two seasons in a row in the German league, he proved himself as a very reliable center. It is also not unimportant to mention that he is a graduate of the very respectable Creighton University team.”
