On September 4, 2017, in the framework of the club's training camp in Lithuania, our basketball players held a friendly match against the famous Lithuanian team «Zalgiris». The game took place in the city of Kaunas on the Zalgiris Arena.
The first friendly game of the new season ended with a victory of Astana. The match ended with a score of 73:69 in favor of the Kazakh team.
During the game, the Greek small forward of «Astana» Leonidas Kaselakis gained 17 points for the team. The new recruits of Astana Ike Udano and Justin Carter also won spurs for the team gaining 15 points each. Kazakhstan center Alexander Zhigulin scored 5 points.
«Astana» will hold next friendly match with one of the strongest Lithuanian teams «Letovus — Rytas». The game will be held on September 7 in Vilnius, the capital of the Republic of Lithuania.
