«Astana Academy» held another home series in the National League. The opponent was Almaty's IRBIS.

Unfortunately, Mikhail Lonshakov's team couldn't defeat the guests: the first game ended with a score of 70:82 and the second — with a score of 55:71.

Magzhan Sarsengaliyev played exceptionally well in the first match — 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals. Unfortunately, during the game, the playing coach of the team, Valery Likhodei, got injured, so the second game took place without him.

It is also worth noting that during the halftime of the first match, «Astana Zhastar,» under the guidance of Anton Ponomarev, winners of the Kazakhstan U-23 Cup, took to the court. They received applause and commemorative prizes.

The best players of the second match were Igor Kanigin (5 points, 12 rebounds) and Sardal Abashidze (6 points, 6 rebounds).

The next series in the National League for «Astana Academy» will take place on December 23 and 24 in Kostanay.
