Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the National basketball tournament among men's teams, initiated by the National Basketball Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2003.
The teams performing in the National and Higher Leagues may participate in the Cup of Kazakhstan. Since 2015, an obligatory condition for participation in the tournament for players is a possession of Kazakhstan passport.
The system of the tournament is indicated in the "Regulations on the holding of the Basketball Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan ", which is drawn up annually, approved by the NFB and agreed by the authorized body.
